What TrainYourAgent builds: AI agents, websites, software, automation, AI search and consulting
Six service lines, all delivered by the same engineering team. Entry points run from a $497 agent build session and a $1,000 AI audit through $8,000 to $15,000 websites, $5,000 to $50,000 automation programmes and $35,000 to $150,000 custom software. Every price on this page is published, not quoted on request.
The six lines, and what each one costs to start
AI agents — A voice or chat agent that answers on your data — built, deployed and operated. From $497 ($497 one-off · $4,950–$9,950 build · $1,997–$4,997/mo run).
Websites — A site that search engines rank and answer engines quote — not just a nice-looking brochure. From $8,000 ($8,000–$15,000 build · $300–$1,060/mo care plan).
Custom software — Production software that ships — portals, MVPs, internal tools and native apps you own outright. From $35,000 ($35,000–$150,000 per engagement).
Automation — The copy-paste job between your systems, deleted — and monitored so you know when it breaks. From $5,000 ($5,000–$50,000+ to build · $3,000–$20,000/mo to operate).
AI search — Be the source the answer is built from — measured, not asserted. From $1,000 audit ($1,000 audit (credited) · retainer sized to scope).
AI consulting — A ranked, costed answer to 'where does AI actually help us' — from people who also ship the build. From $1,000 ($1,000 audit · $5,000–$30,000/mo fractional CAIO).
Which line you actually need
We are missing calls, or answering them slowly. → ai-agents. Inbound volume you cannot answer is the constraint with the clearest dollar value and the fastest proof.
Our website looks fine but never gets found or quoted. → websites. A site with no schema graph, no answer-first structure and no refresh loop is invisible to answer engines regardless of how it looks.
Someone spends hours a week moving data between systems. → automation. High-volume, low-judgement work between systems is the shortest payback in the whole catalogue.
Our operations have outgrown spreadsheets and disconnected SaaS. → software. When three tools each solve a third of the problem and a person does the joins, the joins are the product.
We rank on Google but never appear in the AI answer above it. → ai-search. Ranking competes for a link; citation competes to be the source the answer is built from. They are not the same work.
We know we should be doing something with AI and cannot rank the options. → consulting. A $1,000 audit that produces a ranked, costed roadmap is cheaper than one misdirected pilot.
Terms that apply to every line
undefined — Every line on this page carries a real range. If a range does not fit your situation we will say so on the call rather than discovering it in month two.
undefined — On agent builds, if we do not ship to the specification agreed at kickoff the build fee is refunded, you keep the artifacts, and there is no clawback argument.
undefined — Repositories, infrastructure accounts, domains and data live in your accounts. There is no proprietary platform to be locked into.
undefined — Every recurring engagement — agent operation, website care, automation retainer, AI search, fractional CAIO — is month to month with no annual minimum.
How the engagements are structured
AI agents: Fixed build fee plus a monthly run fee. The build fee buys the agent; the monthly fee buys the operation — hosting, model spend, monitoring, transcript review and prompt changes. Month to month, no minimum term.
Websites: Fixed-price build against a written scope, then an optional monthly care plan. The care plan is not hosting with a markup — it is the refresh cadence, the schema maintenance and the AI-referrer reporting that keep the site visible after launch.
Custom software: Fixed-scope phases with a fixed price per phase, or a monthly team retainer for longer programmes. Phase one is always small and always produces working software, because a discovery document nobody can run is not a deliverable.
Automation: Fixed price per workflow or per connected set, then an optional monthly retainer to run them. The retainer is where the value actually sits: an automation nobody monitors is a silent failure waiting to be discovered by a customer.
AI search: A $1,000 productized audit first, credited in full against the first project. Then a monthly retainer sized to the number of pages, the competitiveness of the category and how much earned-mention work is in scope. No annual lock-in.
AI consulting: A fixed-price productized audit, credited against the first project you commission from it. Beyond that, a monthly fractional engagement sized to how much of the roadmap we are responsible for delivering rather than merely advising on.
Who each line is not for
AI agents — Anyone wanting a chatbot bolted onto a website with no connection to a backend. That is a $99/month product, not a build.
Websites — A single landing page for a campaign. That is an afternoon, not an engagement, and we will tell you to build it yourself.
Custom software — Projects with no decision-maker available weekly. Custom software dies from unanswered questions faster than from hard problems.
Automation — Processes nobody has written down yet. Automating an undefined process encodes the confusion and makes it faster.
AI search — Anyone wanting guaranteed placement in an AI answer. There is no such product, and vendors selling it are selling a guess.
AI consulting — Organisations wanting a slide deck for a board meeting. The audit is a working document with prices in it and it is not designed to be presented.
