TRAINYOURAGENT

Comparisons, organised by the decision you are actually making

Fifteen comparisons of tools across voice AI, automation, AI builders and buying models. Every price was read off the vendor's own pricing page on 23 August 2026 and logged with the URL. Where a vendor does not publish a price, we say so instead of guessing. Where TrainYourAgent is one of the compared options, the page says so above the fold.

How these pages are built, and what that commits us to

Something has to answer the phone. What?

Four pages covering the whole decision, from raw voice infrastructure you build on to packaged receptionist products you buy in an afternoon — and the case for humans, which is narrower than it was and has not disappeared. Which voice AI platform should we build on? Synthflow moved upmarket — what replaces it? Which AI receptionist should a small business actually buy? Should we put software or people on the phone?

The work is manual and repetitive. What runs it instead?

The pricing model is the decision here, not the price. Task, operation and execution billing produce ten-fold differences on the same workflow, and the difference gets larger every time you make the automation better. Which automation platform survives contact with a complex workflow? We have outgrown Zapier's task pricing — where do we go? Which AI agent platform should we put real work through?

We need software or a website. Can AI build it?

Partly, and the subscription price is the least interesting number. What matters is where each tool stalls, what the deployed application actually costs once a database and hosting are attached, and who owns the result. Which AI app builder should we prototype on — and what will it really cost? Which website builder should we put a real business site on? What should an agency build twenty client sites on?

Do we hire, retain, build, buy — or wait?

The five pages where the comparison is between models rather than products. Fully loaded employment costs against agency retainers, build against buy, all-in-one platforms against assembled stacks, what agencies actually charge, and whether search changed enough to change your strategy. Do we hire someone, retain an agency, or go fractional? Should we build this agent, buy a product, or have it built for us? One all-in-one platform, or a stack of best-in-class tools? What is a fair price for an AI automation engagement? Has search actually changed enough to change what we do?

Every comparison, and the decision it settles

When each page was last checked

Every price on these pages was read off the vendor's own pricing page on 2026-08-23, with the URL logged in a price log at the foot of each comparison. The next scheduled re-check is 2026-11-21. A figure older than that should be treated as indicative until it has been re-read.
